Rowan is a part of our National Charity Team and focusses on providing investment advice to charity trustee boards and philanthropists across the South West. In this role Rowan works closely with trustees, CEOs, and CFOs of charities across the South West to understand their distinct challenges and ambitions around investments. By listening carefully and understanding each charity’s unique financial, strategic and governance context, Rowan and the team design bespoke solutions that align investments with their mission, risk appetite, and long-term goals.
Rowan joined RBC Brewin Dolphin after completing a History and Ancient History degree at the University of Exeter. Outside of work Rowan is a trustee at Devon Community Foundation where he helps the board with the oversight of their investments and their strategy to engage with Devon’s many philanthropists.
Rowan has obtained the Level 7 Diploma in Wealth Management and has recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Charity Financial Management at Bayes Business School’s Centre for Charity Excellence. Rowan uses his charity-sector experience and expertise, alongside our global investment expertise to create investment portfolios that genuinely support each charity’s mission and long-term plans.
