Hugh has recently taken up the role of the Head of Charities in Manchester, managing both the RBC Brewin Dolphin team and the investment portfolios of charity clients in the Northwest.
He also looks after the investments of institutional clients such as housing associations, schools and health authorities. He has specialist expertise in and knowledge of responsible investing, which is a growing area of interest among his clients.
Hugh joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2014 and started out in the Portfolio Management team, helping to construct portfolios and dealing before moving to the Charities team in 2017. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is a Chartered Wealth Manager.
