Donna prides herself on building strong personal relationships to help create financial plans that are in tune with their unique aspirations. Put simply, she listens, then helps them to understand their needs and together they then create a plan. It is all about making informed decisions, for people like you and I this could be growing wealth for retirement or creating a legacy to pass on to the next generation. It could be preparing to meet, or meeting ongoing care costs or education, or it could be to help get onto the property ladder.
She is also trained in family law finance, working with solicitors to advise on the best financial outcome for their client. For her institutional clients, it is often about protecting what they have and importantly managing risks. She specialises in not only helping to make a financial plan, but to also keep Trustees informed about changes in legislation and guidance that they may not come across every day. She helps to build robust investment policies, aligned with reserves policies or liability profiles.
Donna joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2009, qualifying as an Investment Manager in 2011 and becoming a Divisional Director in 2016 and now manages the Northwest Charity Team. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is a Chartered Wealth Manager.
