Alex is a Divisional Director and Head of the Financial Planning team for our South West offices. He provides holistic financial planning advice to a large number of private clients, helping them achieve their long-term goals and aspirations, which often involves intergenerational planning.
His advice spans areas such as Inheritance Tax planning, retirement planning, investment advice and protection. He has expertise in Court of Protection work, linking with solicitors to manage the finances and investments of clients who, through personal injury or medical negligence, are unable to look after their affairs themselves.
Alex joined Hargreaves Lansdown from university in 2009, becoming a Financial Planner in 2015. He moved to RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2019 to become Head of Financial Planning team across the South West, and has since helped to improve and expand our Wealth Management proposition. He is currently working towards becoming a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, having already completed his Diploma and developed expertise in areas such as long-term care planning.
