In this week’s podcast Ben Gutteridge, Brewin’s Head of Fund Research, speaks to Peter Berezin, the Chief Global Investment Strategist at BCA Research. The conversation focuses on the current challenges faced by the Emerging Market asset class and whether now represents a good entry or exit point for investors. The discussion covers the threat of a rising dollar, slowing Chinese growth, but also the appeal of current valuations. It will be of little surprise (given the title) that Peter takes a more cautious bent for each segment of the argument.

Also, up for debate are the fortunes of equities at large as well as the global bond markets. Peter is certainly a man worth listening to, given his formidable track record at calling both the Trump and Brexit outcomes, as well as calling the bottom (to the very day) in US government bond yields.
