Delving into distress

In this week’s podcast Guy Foster, Head of Research, talks to Andrew Davies, Senior Portfolio Manager on the CVC Credit Partners European Opportunities fund. Andrew explains what the loans market is, where it has come from and who the participants are. He talks about the particular kinds of opportunities which arise when companies in that market fall into distress and he talks about how the outlook for credit distress looks at a time when the market seems increasingly happy to treat COVID and lockdowns as if they are a thing of the past.
