In his role as an Investment Manager, Scott looks after private clients, charity portfolios and intermediaries, taking responsibility for the purchase and sale of assets. He has been a member of the Glasgow team since 2013.
Increasingly he has been managing self-invested personal pensions particularly for clients who have conducted final salary pension transfers, and Scott’s expertise is now helping them make sound investment decisions with their funds. He is proud of being part of Glasgow’s pension offering, as well as helping mentor and coach younger colleagues.
Scott began his financial services career in 1998 as an investment manager with Greig Middleton, which was eventually bought by Barclays. He worked for Adam & Company before returning to Barclays as a portfolio manager. He joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2013 as an Associate Director and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
