Sandy joined the RBC Brewin Dolphin Edinburgh office in 2010 and is a Portfolio Manager. He looks after a range of clients including private individuals, multigenerational families and trusts. He also helps corporates such as entrepreneurs or owners who have exited businesses and require investment advice.
The investments he typically specialises in are collectives and direct equities. He also meets clients regularly to discuss their investment strategy and attitudes to themes such as environmental, social and governance investing. He sits on the RBC Brewin Dolphin Edinburgh Investment Committee.
Sandy began his financial services career in 2004 as an Audit Trainee at BDO LLP before moving to BDO Investment Management as a Senior Research Executive in 2008. He is a Chartered Accountant (ACA qualified) and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
