Sam is an Investment Management Assistant working mainly in the Charity team in our Leeds office. As part of this he helps support the senior portfolio managers by sitting in on meetings with clients and charity trustees. He also helps write client reports and reviews and is starting to assist with both portfolio construction and trading.
Sam began his financial services career at RBC Brewin Dolphin as a part-time Administrative Assistant in 2019 on a 6-month contract. After impressing management, he became an Investment Management Assistant in 2019.
He has completed the 12-month long RBC Brewin Dolphin Emerging Talent Programme and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment Level 4 Diploma in Investment Advice. Outside of work he volunteers for the Leeds based charity People Matters which helps people with learning disabilities.
