Sam joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2015 and is an Assistant Director and Investment Manager in the Gatwick office. He constructs and manages the investment portfolios of private clients including individual general investments, SIPPs, offshore bonds, families and trusts. He has a keen interest in environmental, social and governance investing and chairs the Gatwick Investment Committee, where a rigorous fundamentals-based investment strategy is employed.
He is proud of providing a holistic, bespoke investment management service looking more broadly at a client’s overall financial circumstances to ensure he is adding as much value as he possibly can. This often involves working closely with colleagues in the Financial Planning team. Sam is also the office ‘champion’ of the low cost ‘RBC Brewin Portfolio Service’ available for individuals investing smaller amounts or on behalf of younger family members.
Sam began as a Trainee Investment Manager at RBC Brewin Dolphin in Taunton before moving to Gatwick. He became an Assistant Director in 2020 and is involved as a mentor in the company’s ASPIRE program. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment as well as a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
