Robert brings extensive career experience to his role as Head of one of our Investment Management teams.. He manages investments and also constructs bespoke investment portfolios for mainly private clients.
He has specialist knowledge of Court of Protection issues, looking after the investments of clients who are unable to manage their own affairs. As part of this, he works closely with court-appointed deputies, individuals authorised with power of attorney and clients’ families.
Robert began his financial services career in 1979 working for Barclays in Rotherham, where he rose to the position of Assistant Manager before switching to Barclays Stockbrokers in London. Robert joined the RBC Brewin Dolphin Leeds office in 2009. He is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
