Rachel joined Brewin Dolphin in 2011. She is an Assistant Director in the 1762 team, providing advice to high-net-worth clients in key areas such as pensions, retirement planning, inheritance tax and trust planning, and investment planning.
She is also active in bringing new business and funds into the office. In particular Rachel, who grew up in Hong Kong and is a native speaker of Cantonese and Mandarin, is building up a book of international clients. She wants to create a Chinese and Hong Kong service at 1762 and is currently building relationships with tax advisers and accountants who specialise in the Asian market.
Rachel began her financial services career in 2010 as a Paraplanner at the Jelf Group in Manchester. She took on the same role at Brewin Dolphin a year later, rising to Senior Wealth Executive in 2020 and Wealth Adviser in 2021. She helped set up and currently runs a quarterly National Paraplanner Forum for the group. She is a Member of the Chartered Investment Institute and is a Chartered Financial Planner.
