Divisional Director

“I get the most fulfilment out of communicating with our clients and making the difficult stuff simple. It has to be understandable to them.”

Nick joined our Leeds office in 2010 and is a Divisional Director. He manages the portfolios of a range of clients from private individuals and families to trusts. He meets them regularly to give advice on their investments and gauge any changes to their risk appetites.

One of his key interests is sustainable investing and he is a member of RBC Brewin Dolphin’s National Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Forum. He is also proud of the personal relationships he builds with clients and being able to communicate with them effectively.

Nick began his financial services career as a Paraplanner for pension specialist Reeves and helped introduce a WRAP-based investment platform there. He joined the RBC Brewin Dolphin graduate trainee scheme in 2010. He has an investment management certificate, investment advice diploma and masters in wealth management. He is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and has an executive MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
