Michael joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2019 and is an Investment Manager in the Gatwick office. He is part of the Southeast Adviser Partnership team and as such he constructs and manages portfolios for clients of intermediaries such as external independent financial advisors.
The typical clients he manages includes charities, corporations and high-net-worth individuals and families. He meets the underlying clients on a regular basis and is proud of the close relationships he develops with them. As an environmental, social and governance (ESG) specialist he is striving to introduce this more into client conversations and advice.
Michael has over 15 years of experience in private client wealth management. He began his financial services career in Canada with the bank CIBC Wood Gundy before moving to the UK in 2008 to pursue an MBA. He then held Investment Management positions at firms such as Barclays Wealth and Aspinalls. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
