Assistant Director – Office Manager

“I help ensure the smooth running of both offices which in turn means our investment managers and financial planners can focus on their clients.”

Melanie joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2014 and is an Office Manager for the Gatwick and Tunbridge Wells offices. Her role is to provide high-level support and organisation to the Head of Office and Senior Leadership team, including diary management, taking meeting minutes and project management.

She is involved with the coordination and implantation of office procedures and is responsible for business development and marketing activities; managing various events for its clients and professional contacts. She also liaises with maintenance, suppliers and facilities teams in relation to the office.

Melanie began her financial services career in the RBC Brewin Dolphin Reigate office as a secretary, before becoming PA to the Head of Office and managing the opening of the Tunbridge Wells office in 2019. She later co-ordinated the opening of the Gatwick office in 2020, ensuring a smooth transition for the team.
