Kyle is based in the RBC Brewin Dolphin Edinburgh office, where he specialises in advising high-net-worth families, business owners, and entrepreneurs.
With over a decade of experience since joining the firm in 2011, he excels in guiding clients through important financial transitions, such as business exits or liquidity events – leveraging his deep understanding of wealth structuring and intergenerational planning. While based in Edinburgh, Kyle serves clients across the Central Belt and Scotland, offering tailored strategies to address their unique financial goals.
His career began as a graduate trainee at RBC Brewin Dolphin after completing an MSc in Finance & Investment Management at the University of Aberdeen. Kyle has since worked across all core divisions, private clients, intermediaries, and charities, giving him a holistic perspective on wealth management. This cross-functional expertise enables him to lead complex, multi-advisor relationships, collaborating with both internal and external specialists to design robust, long-term wealth planning strategies.
Kyle holds an Executive MBA from the University of Edinburgh Business School, with a specialisation in Strategy. Beyond his professional role, he is committed to community impact, serving as a Trustee of the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and a board member of The Spartans Football Club. Outside of finance, Kyle remains passionate about all sports, having completed a soccer scholarship in the US as part of his undergraduate degree, and can often be found playing golf, when parenting duties permit.
