John joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2011 and is a Wealth Director in our 1762 office where he looks after private clients with complex financial needs. His core advice areas include pension, education, estate and inheritance tax planning, as well as personal and business protection.
He also has expertise in investment structuring for both UK resident and domiciled and non-domiciled clients, as well as in helping to minimise the impact of UK taxation through the use of Government approved reliefs and allowances. He is proud of developing a solid base of clients during his career, working hard to maintain close working relationships with them.
John began his financial services career working in financial advice and accountancy before becoming Head of Financial Planning for the UK Regions at SG Hambros in 2002. He is both a Chartered and Certified Financial Planner.
