James joined the RBC Brewin Dolphin Bristol office in 2019 and is a Financial Planner. He provides holistic financial planning advice tailored to a range of high-net-worth clients including private individuals, family trusts and charitable trusts.
His role involves offering complex advice such as tax efficiency and investment planning to business owners exiting and needing future income, corporate lawyers and people heading towards or in retirement. He places great emphasis on building trust with his clients and is proud that most of them come via referrals. In 2015 he was selected for inclusion in the Spear’s 500 Top 50 UK Wealth Advisers.
James has been a Financial Planner for over 20 years, previously working at Friends Provident, Sedgwick IFC and Hargreaves Lansdown, where he become a Senior Planner during his 18 years there. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Financial Planning Institute.
