James joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2011 and is an Investment Manager in the Plymouth and Truro offices. He is one of the lead managers within the South West Adviser Partnership team, providing bespoke solutions and portfolios to independent financial advisors and their clients.
He has particular knowledge and expertise in environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing and regularly discusses this with clients and what this might mean for their portfolios. He believes this is his USP in the South West region and that it enhances his conversations and relationships with clients.
James began his financial services career with RBC Brewin Dolphin as a Trainee Investment Manager. He became an Investment Manager in 2016 and an Assistant Director in 2020. James holds the CFA UK Certificate in ESG Investing and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
