James is an Investment Manager in our Cheltenham office. He has a wealth of experience managing multi-asset class portfolios for private clients, pensions, charities and trusts and is experienced in helping wealth cascade down multigenerational families.
He is proud of the close relationships he develops with clients and regards many of his clients as personal friends, with the number of referrals he receives being testament to the level of trust they place in him.
James began his financial services career in 2000 as a Senior Administrator at the Lincoln Financial Group, working in the Pension Review team. He then moved to Capita Life & Pensions in 2004 as a Senior Finance Technician within the Unit Pricing team. James joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2010 having worked his way through the company to his current position of Divisional Director. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is a keen sportsman having played representative rugby for the South West, Gloucestershire and his local club Gordon League RFC.
