Ian specialises in working with intermediaries and private clients, helping them to optimise the performance of their portfolios. In his role as Investment Manager, his focus is on managing the wealth of his clients to grow their assets for the longer term.
He joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2017 and since then has been promoted twice to his current position of Divisional Director. He says the most rewarding part of his job is guiding clients through the various stages of their lives and reassuring them about the future.
Ian began his career in financial services at Barclays Wealth Management in 1999, moving to the private bank Duncan Lawrie in 2011 which then became part of RBC Brewin Dolphin. Ian is a CISI chartered wealth manager.
