Edward Strange

Divisional Director – Head of Office

“It’s a wonderful adventure. I get out of bed thinking which client am I going to help today? It’s the family continuity across generations, it is the trust you build over the long-term and the desire to serve my clients.”

Edward provides a bespoke discretionary service to a wide range of clients, ranging from individuals and families to businesses, trusts and charities. With an average client tenure of 27 years, he specialises in helping manage the intergenerational transfer of wealth across families and capital preservation.

Appointed Head of Office in 2021, he is the third generation of the Strange family to hold that position at the Lincoln office, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, father and, most recently, his uncle, Peter.

Edward began his career in financial services in 1985 in the City of London but in 1987 he joined Hill Osborne, where he became a partner. Hill Osborne was acquired by RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2000. Edward is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
