David is an Investment Manager and Divisional Director in our London office. He has been constructing and managing bespoke discretionary investment portfolios on behalf of private individuals and trustees for over 25 years.
He has particular expertise in global equity investments, building on research from RBC Brewin Dolphin’s own team of specialists as well as professional contacts he has developed outside the firm. He began his career in financial planning, a background he finds useful to this day.
David, who has had a strong interest in stock markets and economics from an early age, began his City career with RBC Brewin Dolphin in the 1980s, then moved to Laing & Cruickshank which was later acquired by UBS. David re-joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2011. He became a Member of the London Stock Exchange and is now a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
