David advises mainly private individuals and families on retirement and tax planning, estate planning, trusts, investments, succession, and court of protection.
He has specialist knowledge of pensions and the impact of legislation in this area and is also an advocate of using cashflow modelling and forecasting to help give clients a clear picture and understanding of their wealth.
After working in retail as a store manager for the Boots Group, David moved into financial services in 1999 as a Financial Adviser for Barclays, working with high-net-worth individuals. He moved to Hansells Solicitors in 2008 as an independent financial adviser before joining RBC Brewin Dolphin working from the Norwich office, in 2021. David has the diploma in Financial Planning and is a member of the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Insurance Institute.
