Barry is an Assistant Director and Investment Manager in our Edinburgh office. He manages the investment portfolios of private clients, including multigeneration families and trustees.

His role is very relationship orientated so gaining the trust of his clients is very important to him. No two clients or their portfolios are the same. He puts in the extra time to really get to know each of his clients, allowing him to offer them a bespoke service.

Barry started his financial services career in 2001 working for Gerrard. He then spent nine years playing rugby at English Premiership level, having previously played rugby for Scotland while at university. He then joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2010 as a Trainee Investment Manager, becoming an Investment Manager in 2012. He has his Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Diploma and is a Fellow of the CISI. He also has his Investment Management Certificate.
