Ashley has extensive experience in investment management, specialising in private client portfolios, ISA/SIPP wrappers, trust and charity relationships.
A former head of office at London City, his career experience also includes a financial management course at the University of West Sydney. He is a governor at two schools and is a trustee of the Tim Henman Foundation, a charity helping vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.
Ashley started in financial services in 1982 as a City stockbroker and was one of the last people to be made an individual member of the London Stock Exchange. By 1998, he had become head of the London office for Wise Speke, which was acquired that year by RBC Brewin Dolphin. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
