- Shooting Star Children’s Hospices: Central Government provided support in the COVID-19 pandemic but there has been little clarity on the nature and extent of that support. More recently, budget changes have created issues in terms of the Hospices’ cost base.
- The Women’s Royal Army Corps Association: A number of critical decisions have been required to secure the future of the Association in the face of increased demand for grants, an anticipated reduction in the number of beneficiaries longer-term and a targeted winding up of the charity in 2054.
- Berkhamsted Schools Group: Like many private schools, Berkhamsted have faced mounting financial pressure due to VAT on school fees, rising employer national insurance rates and the removal of business rates charitable relief.
