The Art of Fine Wine

Held on Thursday 29 June in the impressive surrounds of the Fitzwilliam Museum, Heather Sonnet and her team based in Cambridge were pleased to welcome friends of Brewin Dolphin to an exclusive art and wine evening.

Fitzwilliam curator Henrietta Ward joined forces with wine merchants Corney & Barrow’s Rebecca Palmer to find comparisons between fine wines and the texture achieved in paintings going back to the 16th century.

The evening was opened by Brewin Dolphin Chairman and University of Cambridge alumni Simon  Miller, who reminisced of his time in the city and his delight of the success of the Cambridge office which was opened in 2016.

Brewin Dolphin are proud sponsors of the museum’s exhibitions and events programme, helping the Fitzwilliam connect with the Cambridge community. We look forward to working alongside the Fitzwilliam in the future.
