James is a Financial Planner at RBC Brewin Dolphin in our Edinburgh office. He works with business owners, private investors and families, helping them plan for the future.
He is a firm believer in the importance of cashflow modelling to help clients understand what is important to them, including the “must haves” and the “like to haves”. When necessary, he works closely with legal and accounting professionals to provide in-depth advice on developing and implementing suitable and tax efficient strategies for clients.
James began working as a Financial Planner in 2021 and joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2025. Prior to this he worked as a Chartered Surveyor in London and Edinburgh, assisting high net worth individuals and small property companies on the disposal and acquisition of development opportunities, as well as the construction of property portfolios.
