RBC Brewin Dolphin appoints Ian Kloss as head of intermediary sales

Wealth manager RBC Brewin Dolphin has promoted Ian Kloss to head of intermediary sales, reporting to Antony Champion, head of intermediaries. He was previously head of nationals, networks and international distribution, enhancing the company’s existing UK adviser partnerships and developing its international intermediary proposition in Jersey and the Republic of Ireland.  

Ian has over 24 years’ financial services experience, having held senior roles at HSBC and Quilter International in Singapore.

RBC Brewin Dolphin’s intermediary business supports over 1,700 financial advice firms to meet the long-term financial goals of their clients. Its investment propositions include discretionary investment management, its Managed Portfolio Service (MPS) and the MI Brewin Dolphin Voyager fund range, which has reached £1bn in AUM since launch in October 2021.

Ian takes over the role from Lucie Gordon, who has been appointed managing director, head of northern region.
