Brewin Dolphin has appointed Johnny McGlynn as its new head of office for Edinburgh

He joined Brewin Dolphin in 2009 as head of financial planning for Edinburgh, a role he held for five years before becoming head of business development and growth for the office. Johnny graduated from Edinburgh University before qualifying as a financial planner.

Johnny takes over from Marc Wilkinson who is now regional managing director – Scotland overseeing the Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen offices as well as performing his groupwide head of wealth governance role.

The company recently announced a strong start to its financial year with growth across both its direct and indirect business. Total funds grew to £51.4bn, higher than pre-COVID levels1.
