The team at wealth manager Brewin Dolphin’s Cardiff office were not going to let the Covid-19 pandemic deter them from raising much-needed funds for their chosen charity of the year, Dreams & Wishes, as they completed a virtual challenge to collectively walk, cycle, play golf, climb mountains and even Zumba an impressive 10,391 miles, the equivalent distance of explorer Scott’s famous British Antarctic Expedition of 1910, which saw his Terra Nova ship set off from Cardiff to reach the South Pole.
A team of 30 participants from the Cardiff office took part in the challenge through their individual, daily exercise to raise a total of £2,630 for the Dreams & Wishes charity, which helps seriously ill children by granting their lifelong wish as well as by providing vital support throughout the child’s illness.
