Brewin Dolphin’s Bristol office has added to its financial planning team with the hire of Jonathan May (pictured) as a financial planner. He is one of several new hires at the office helping to meet the financial planning needs of both existing and new clients.

Jonathan has over 27 years of experience and joins Brewin Dolphin from Hargreaves Lansdown where he was a senior adviser helping high-net-worth individuals and businesses with a range of complex financial planning matters. He began his career at Equitable Life Assurance Society.
He is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a certified financial planner awarded by the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Tom Miller, head of office, Brewin Dolphin Bristol, said: “Jonathan is a fantastic addition to our team in Bristol, as he brings strong financial planning experience coupled with the ability to nurture long-standing, trusted client relationships. The Bristol office has had a busy year helping our clients through the volatility we have seen recently. The company has adapted very well to home working and has ensured that clients’ needs have remained at the forefront during this time.”
Jonathan May, financial planner, added: “Brewin Dolphin is a company with a long heritage and a trusted reputation in the industry, and so I am thrilled to have joined the Bristol team. As people in Bristol, and indeed across the UK, grapple with the uncertain times we are currently in, I hope to help more people to effectively plan and manage their finances.”
