Brewin Dolphin, one of the UK’s largest independently owned Investment Managers, is delighted to announce that David Howard is joining in the new role of Chief Administration Officer. David will be a member of the Group’s Executive Committee and report to Stephen Ford – Head of Investment Management.
David, an engineering graduate from Southampton University, joined the London office of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells in 1985, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. In 1989 he decided to pursue a career in financial services. He fulfilled a number of finance related roles, subsequently joining a subsidiary group of Guinness Mahon in 1991 where he became Finance Director. He joined Insinger de Beaufort in 1995, becoming the UK Chief Operating Officer in 2004. Prior to joining Brewin Dolphin, David was the Chief Operating Officer at Williams de Broë from 2008 until 2012.
