Wealth manager Brewin Dolphin’s Ipswich office is celebrating after winning ‘Best DFM (Discretionary Fund Manager) in the East of England’ for the second year running at the Citywire Wealth Manager Regional Stars Awards 2018. The prestigious ceremony was held on the 8 March at the Westminster Park Plaza in London.
The award win adds further impetus to Brewin Dolphin’s strategy of building a stronger UK intermediary channel, which saw an increase of 24.6% in intermediary funds last year. Leading the charge on this are 17 regionally-based business development managers who specifically service the IFA (Independent Financial Adviser) market.
The Citywire Wealth Manager Regional Stars Awards are esteemed within the financial services industry as they are voted for by the IFA community, and therefore act as a platform for financial planners to rate discretionary firms on the quality of their service and investment proposition. IFAs ranked individual wealth management offices on four criteria: investment outcomes, client reporting, relationship management and efficiency of service.
