RBC Brewin Dolphin appoints new head of Birmingham office

Wealth manager RBC Brewin Dolphin has promoted senior director, David Seaton to head its Birmingham office. This follows the previous head of office, Menna Cule, moving to a new role as senior director within the client advice channel.

David, who is from Birmingham, started his career at RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2007, working alongside the intermediary team focusing on providing investment solutions to clients of financial advisers. In 2015, he helped establish and lead the portfolio management team, constructing portfolios for a range of private clients, charities and agent clients. David will lead a team of 56 people in Birmingham.

The Birmingham office has also expanded its financial planning team with the appointments of Sophia Raidhan as a director, wealth manager and Michelle Brough as a wealth manager. Both will focus on providing expert financial advice on such matters as effective tax planning, retirement strategies and estate planning.

Prior to joining RBC Brewin Dolphin, Sophia was a specialist financial adviser to doctors at Wesleyan. Michelle began her career in personal banking at Nationwide Building Society and HSBC before joining Schroders Personal Wealth as a financial adviser.
