Senior Investment Manager – Divisional Director

“We want to provide a Rolls-Royce service and we are constantly thinking about how we can improve it. The personal touch is so important. If it wasn’t, many people would just get their investment advice online!”

Lorraine joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 1998 and is an Investment Manager in the Newcastle office. She manages private client portfolios on a discretionary basis, mainly for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families based in the South and North East of England.

She has expertise in dealing with complex intergenerational family wealth issues such as trusts and overseas assets. This means working regularly with solicitors and trustees to help identify problems early and improve client service.

Lorraine began her career in 1995 as a Management Accountant at Nortel Networks. She then worked as a Quantitative Research Analyst at Caple Cure Myers Management and remains proud of her macro-economic research skills. At RBC Brewin she has managed portfolios for charities and pension funds for the Asset Management team. She also spent time as an analyst within the research department and was formerly a member of the Group Asset Allocation Committee. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
