John will be stepping down as Chief Executive at the end of the Financial Year (30th September 2007). He will retire from the Board of Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC at the 2008 Annual General Meeting.<\/p>    <p>Jamie Matheson, Executive Chairman, said &#8220;John Hall\u2019s contribution to Brewin Dolphin has been remarkable. The fact that the Company has gone from strength to strength whilst maintaining its core traditional values is due to his vision, integrity and leadership. These traditional values will be maintained by a strong and effective team committed to the continuing success of the Company.&#8221;<\/p>    <p>From 1st October 2007 the Executive Chairman Jamie Matheson will have five direct reports:-<\/p>     <ul class=\"wp-block-list\">  <li>  <p>Chief Operating Officer;<\/p>  <\/li>  <li>  <p>Finance Director;<\/p>  <\/li>  <li>  <p>Head of Private Clients;<\/p>  <\/li>  <li>  <p>Head of Regulation; and<\/p>  <\/li>  <li>Head of Investment Banking<\/li>  <\/ul>     <p>Sarah Soar (Head of the Southern Region) and Barry Howard (Head of Regulation) are appointed Executive Directors of the Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC Board.<\/p>    <p>Christopher Legge will hand over the role of Head of Private Clients to David McCorkell. Christopher remains an Executive Director of the Company and will continue his close involvement with the development of the Group Fund Management operation and his own private client base.<\/p>
