The Government-recognised scheme ties into the company\u2019s strategy of nurturing talent and bringing fresh thinking into the business.<\/p>    <p>The company has already recruited a total of 12 new apprentices in the last few months to its new Financial Planning Academy hubs in its Manchester, Birmingham and London offices. In addition, four existing employees in financial planning support roles have been accepted on to the scheme.<\/p>    <p>The 16 apprentices will undertake a two-year programme that will take them from being new entrants to the industry to achieving the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. They will acquire new technical skills, people skills as well as growing their financial planning knowledge.<\/p>    <p>The apprenticeship scheme has been designed to be a genuine alternative to the more traditional university route.<\/p>    <p>David Nicol, CEO, Brewin Dolphin said: <em>\u201cWe are a forward-thinking organisation that is committed to nurturing future talent.
