{"id":1935,"date":"2014-08-19T11:29:00","date_gmt":"2014-08-19T11:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.brewin.co.uk\/group\/media\/news-and-comments\/2019-11\/brewin-dolphin-expands-in-leeds-with-york-office-merger\/"},"modified":"2023-11-06T09:19:42","modified_gmt":"2023-11-06T09:19:42","slug":"brewin-dolphin-expands-leeds-york-office-merger","status":"publish","type":"rbcwm_news","link":"https:\/\/www.brewin.co.uk\/group\/media\/news-and-comments\/2014-08\/brewin-dolphin-expands-leeds-york-office-merger","title":{"rendered":"Brewin Dolphin expands in Leeds with York office merger"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brewin Dolphin is to develop its Leeds office with the consolidation of its York branch, which is being closed. &nbsp;This development will be under the leadership of Michael Craven, Head of Brewin Dolphin in Leeds.<\/p>    <p>Providing clients with the best possible service is what drives Brewin Dolphin and the consolidation is taking place after a full review of all relevant client accounts.&nbsp; The Leeds office has larger teams of fully qualified investment managers and financial planners and offers a broader range of services and we hope that many of our colleagues in York will transfer to Leeds.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>    <p>The Leeds office is long established and has been working with private clients, families and businesses across Yorkshire and throughout the UK for over 100 years; providing financial planning and investment solutions for generations. The merger of the two offices will result in teams totalling 45 qualified Investment Managers and Financial Planners and their support staff in Leeds, who are responsible for the management of some \u00a31.5bn of client assets.&nbsp;<\/p>    <p>The Brewin Dolphin office is currently located at 34 Lisbon Street, Leeds, and today we are also announcing that we will be relocating to new premises at 10 Wellington Place, in the autumn.&nbsp; No 10 Wellington Place is a magnificent five storey new office building by MEPC in the heart of Leeds \u201cNew West End\u201d. The building has a stunning south facing glass fa\u00e7ade with limestone detailing and special car parking arrangements for clients.<\/p>    <p>Stephen Ford, Director of Brewin Dolphin and Head of Investment Management said \u201cWhile we recognise this is a sad day for York, we are continually reviewing how we conduct business to ensure our clients receive the best possible service.&nbsp; I am confident that all our clients will be very well served from our new enlarged Leeds office and that we will continue to grow our important and highly valued business in Yorkshire from our new state of
