Brewin Dolphin, the wealth manager, has appointed Robin Mellows as its new head of office in Nottingham. He has taken over the role from Gillian Hibbert, who is stepping down after nine years in the role to focus on her clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robin Mellows<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robin joined the Nottingham office as an investment manager when it was established in 2008. His 14-year tenure has seen him progress to senior investment manager responsible for the portfolios of private clients and intermediaries and now to the head of office role. He has also been instrumental, as part of the senior leadership team, in developing the Nottingham office\u2019s growth strategy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gillian also joined the Nottingham office at its inception in 2008 with responsibility for managing the private client investment team. She was promoted to head of office in 2012, taking over from current CEO Robin Beer who became a regional director at the time. Gillian was one of the first women to lead an office at Brewin Dolphin. Under her leadership, the office has built a strong presence across the East Midlands region, helping a variety of clients with their financial planning and investment needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jonathan Tweedie, regional managing director (central and the north) at Brewin Dolphin, said: <\/b>\u201cI look forward to working with Robin Mellows as he sets out his vision to lead and grow the Nottingham office.
