{"id":1304,"date":"2022-05-11T07:09:15","date_gmt":"2022-05-11T07:09:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.brewin.co.uk\/group\/media\/news-and-comments\/2022-05\/brewin-dolphin-holdings-plc-group-interim-financial-report-for-the-half-year-ended-31-march-2022\/"},"modified":"2024-01-09T12:40:26","modified_gmt":"2024-01-09T12:40:26","slug":"brewin-dolphin-holdings-plc-group-interim-financial-report","status":"publish","type":"rbcwm_news","link":"https:\/\/www.brewin.co.uk\/group\/media\/news-and-comments\/2022-05\/brewin-dolphin-holdings-plc-group-interim-financial-report","title":{"rendered":"Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC, Group Interim Financial Report for the Half Year Ended 31 March 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><p align=\"center\"><strong>Strong organic fund inflows of \u00a31.9bn<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-recommended-offer\"><strong>Recommended offer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On 31 March 2022, RBC Wealth Management (Jersey) Holdings Ltd<sup>1<\/sup> announced a recommended cash acquisition of Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC for 515p per share.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The acquisition is conditional on shareholder and regulatory approvals and is expected to complete by the end of calendar Q3 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>H1 financial highlights<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gross discretionary inflows of \u00a31.9bn (H1 2021: \u00a31.6bn) show continued organic growth driven by our advice-focused strategy and broad range of propositions and investment solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Total discretionary net flows of \u00a31.0bn (annualised growth rate of 4.0%).\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MPS\/ Voyager H1 net flows of \u00a30.5bn (annualised growth rate 16.4%).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Direct client retention rates increased to 99% in H1 2022 (FY 2021: 97%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<li>Total funds for the first half were broadly flat at \u00a356.3bn (FY 2021: \u00a356.9bn) due to volatile market performance driven by the conflict in Ukraine and the macroeconomic environment. The cost increase on our custody and settlement system is driven by higher than expected inflationary pressure on technology costs and delivery now set to the end of summer, as we continue to focus on mitigating any implementation risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTES:<br>  1.
