The Brewin Dolphin Cambridge office continued their support of the Fitzwilliam Museum with a private viewing of the recently launched exhibition, ‘Degas: A Passion for Perfection’ on Thursday 5 October.
In the centenary year of the artist’s death, guests heard from Fitzwilliam researcher Amy Marquis on the museum’s celebration of Degas’s achievements.
The Fitzwilliam has assembled an extensive collection, complemented by a group of around sixty loans from private and public collection throughout Europe and the United States, several of which are on public display for the first time.
Famous for his depiction of the ballet, Degas’ works were complimented by dancers from Bodywork Company Cambridge to the delight of those in attendance.
Brewin Dolphin is proud to sponsor the Fitzwilliam Museum and supports their efforts to bring world-class exhibitions to Cambridge. We encourage all to enjoy the show, which runs until 14 January 2018.
