Biography
Graduating with a PhD in economics from the London School of Economics, Mike Lenhoff started his career path in an economics forecasting consultancy business. In 1985 he joined Capel Cure Myers as a portfolio strategist. By the end of the 1990’s Mike was Head of Research at Capel Cure Sharp, later part of the Gerrard Group. He left Gerrards in 2002 to join Brewin Dolphin before the parent company Old Mutual sold Gerrard to Barclays Bank. Mike’s forecasting abilities have served him well and he makes frequent contributions to the financial press and regular guest appearances on CNN, CNBC and Bloomberg. Mike provides leadership on the relevant investment background and tactical guidance on financial markets.
