Biography

Ruth is Head of Charities Business Development at Brewin Dolphin. She joined the company in 2011, is based in London and works with each of the charity teams across the UK. Prior to joining, Ruth spent 12 years at Newton Investment Management Ltd as Director of Charities Business Development. Her two previous roles were as Development Manager for disability charity SCOPE, followed by eight years as Director of Charity Services at the Charities Aid Foundation. Ruth holds a BA and various postgraduate qualifications; is a committee member of the Charity Investors’ Group; a trustee of a grantmaking charitable trust; and a member of a church PCC and finance committee.
