The Glasgow Office was established in the autumn of 1995 with the recruitment of a Corporate Finance and Institutional Sales/Research operation. A private client team relocated from Edinburgh shortly thereafter and this team was almost immediately reinforced by the acquisition from James Finlay of a Discretionary Fund Management and Financial Services business. Since then, several teams have joined from other brokers increasing the number of Directors to ten.

The Corporate Finance and Institutional Sales/Research teams specialise in flotations and secondary fundraisings on AIM and the Official List, mergers and acquisitions and strategic advice. They also provide research on a range of companies and deal for all UK small cap institutions.
