Biography

Richard started his stockbroking career in February 1986 at James Capel (Jersey). Having gained his Registered Trader & Representative examinations in 1987, he worked on the equity trading desk for 5 years, before working alongside the Managing Director on private client portfolios. Moving with the MD to Cater Allen Stockbrokers, he began developing his own private client base and moved across to Brewin Dolphin in January 2000. Now managing mainly discretionary mandates, he has also passed the IAC and Cert in Investment Management examinations, and is a Member of the Securities and Investment Institute.
