Biography

Stuart graduated from Queen Margaret College in Edinburgh with a BA in Communication Studies in 1989 then whilst working in personnel in the public sector obtained appropriate qualifications enabling him to undertake his duties as a Personnel Officer/Manager.  After 10 years working in that field he chose to change career to follow his long held passion for stockbroking.

Now in his 14th year in investment management, Stuart joined the Dumfries branch of Brewin Dolphin (formerly Bell Lawrie) in April 1998. He passed the Private Client Investment Advice & Management Examination in November 2010 and is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Stuart remains an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Personnel & Development.
